Our team excels in innovation and research, with three PhD holders and experienced computer scientists.
Christopher Kermorvant
Chief Executive Officer, AI Expert
Christopher has 25 years of experience in Machine Learning both in the academy and in the industry. He graduated from ENSIIE and holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Université de Lyon-Saint-Etienne.
He teaches Natural Language Processing at ENSAE Paris, Polytechnic Institute of Paris.
Bastien Abadie
Chief Technical Officer
Bastien is specialised in backend development using open-source stacks and DevOps tools. He holds a M.Eng. in Computer Science from Ecole Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Brest.
In the past he worked for various software companies: Mozilla as Senior Software engineer, Activscreen, but also as a solo consultant with his own company NextCairn.
Yoann Schneider
Chief Operating Officer
Yoann holds a Master in Engineering from École Nationale Supérieure d'Informatique et de Mathématiques Appliquées de Grenoble (ENSIMAG).
He is specialized in software development for Machine Learning and manages document processing projects.
Clémence Fontaine
Marketing and Development Manager
Clémence holds a Master’s degree in Cultural Policies and Management from Sciences Po, with a specialization in digital innovation, and a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from the Courtauld Institute of Art.
At TEKLIA, she leads marketing and business development, leveraging her dual expertise in culture and technology to promote the use of AI in heritage and the humanities.
Léa Périssier
Project Manager
After studying history at Lumière Lyon 2 University, Léa graduated in 2021 with a master's degree in “Digital Technologies Applied to History” from the École nationale des chartes. She previously worked as a research engineer in charge of the PRET19 project at the Sorbonne Interuniversity Library (BIS).
Erwan Rouchet
Senior Developer
Erwan graduated in software development from Université de Lille. He mainly works with Python, Django and Vue.js, and dabbles in SQL and technical writing.
Erwan is the main contributor to the Arkindex code.
Mélodie Boillet
Machine Learning Engineer
Mélodie is specialised in Deep Learning for document processing.
She holds a Master in Information Systems Architectures from INSA de Rouen-Normandie, a Master in Data Science and Engineering from Université de Rouen-Normandie. She received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Université de Rouen-Normandie in collaboration with the LITIS lab.
Valentin Rigal
Software Engineer
Valentin holds a M.Eng. in computer science from INP-ENSEEIHT.
He is specialized in backend development (Python), but also contributes to frontend interfaces.
He loves free software ecosystem, nature and rock climbing.
Eva Bardou
Machine Learning Software Engineer
After a 5-month internship at Teklia that allowed her to validate her engineering degree, she was welcomed to join the team as a Software Engineer. She is specialized in backend/frontend development..
Eva holds a Higher National Diploma in Computer Science from Université Grenoble-Alpes and an Engineering Degree in Computer Networks and Multimedia Communication from Polytech Grenoble Engineering school.
Thibault Lavigne
System administrator
Thibault holds an engineering degree from the Higher Institute of Computer Science, Modelling and their Applications (ISIMA) in Clermont-Ferrand.
Before joining TEKLIA, he was system administrator in a document management company.
Solène Tarride
Machine Learning Engineer
Solène holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from INSA Rennes. She graduated from ENSIIE and holds a Master in Data Science and Image Processing from Université Paris Saclay.
During her Ph.D. with IRISA, she focused on Deep Learning for historical document understanding. At TEKLIA, she is developing new methods for handwriting recognition on historical and modern documents.
Théo Lesage
Software Developer
Theo is preparing a master degree at L'Ecole by CCI.
He is a software developer, with a strong preference for UX/UI work.
Theo likes Game jams and shader art coding, as well as mountain biking and outdoors sports.
